About Me
Hello. I’m Amanda, the artist, designer and creator of Amanda Hessler Art + Design. And this is my supervisor, Max the goldendoodle. We live in Prairie Village, Kansas, where you can find me sipping iced coffee, walking with Max, reading, binging my favorite show, spending time with my sister/BFF and her two boys or painting something new and colorful!
It started early.
My love for art, creativity and paper products started in the days of Lisa Frank folders, puffy stickers and matching clothes.
It continued as I joined the high school yearbook staff, serving as the photo editor my senior year.
Although I studied journalism at the University of Kansas, I spent most of my time on the creative staff of the University Daily Kansan creating advertisements for the student newspaper.
Now I work as an in-house graphic designer for a company headquartered in Overland Park, Kansas, and spend my free time creating gifts and prints for friends, family and my small Etsy shop.
